Due to technical difficulties (and my lack to effort) the next installment of the Travel Diary has been delayed, so I here is something else for you to look at.

Our Flat

We live in a one bedroom flat at 4 Dombey House, Wolseley Street in Bermondsey, London SE1 2BL. If you were wondering the postal code (SE1 4BL) is made up of two parts: SE1 meaning "south east 1" ie south east of the central postoffice and 2BL which is a unique code given to our building ie every building within SE1 has a different number.

Click here to view a map of where we live (I hope). We are on the south west corner of the intersection of Wolseley Street and George Row.

Our flat is a nice one bedroom unit in a Council block, however many of the units are privately owned (if you live in a Council flat for five years you have the right to buy it). It is nothing flash but is light and spacious enough for us two.

If you haven't already got to the Video Page to download videos of our flat, or check out the photos below:

We pay the princely sum of £185 for the flat, which is ok considering it is 10 minutes to the Bermondsey Tube, 3 minutes from the nearest bus stop and 10 minutes from Tower Bridge. The relatively low price is due to it being in a non-fashionable area (ie south of the river).
